Pokemon GO is preparing for another Team Rocket event and it seems like they know who to target; thirsty fans. Niantic has announced that the event will have three new Pokemon GO Team Rocket characters, one of whom has been described as a "thicc boi" by some. Either way, they're memorable characters and should be able to fill up the thirst quota many of us weebs have a hard time filling.
Cliff is the aforementioned "thicc boi" and is definitely a good-looking dude. Like a lot of anime characters, he has muscles for days and probably has some tough Pokemon to fight, though we'll have to wait and see about that last part. Arlo is a pretty dude and should appeal to people who like smart guys. Sierra is an anime girl and people have probably made fan art of her already.
Apparently, they're called Team GO Rocket and are going to menace players who still play the addictive mobile game.
There's also a great piece of art that has a custom avatar taking on these trainers, who seem to have corrupted versions of Arcanine, Charizard, and Houndoom, among others. Players should be able to make these Pokemon normal again, just like in the Gamecube game Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, so that should be fun.
Overall, it's nice to see original characters in Pokemon GO again since most of us assumed they would end with the original team leaders. Remember when being proud of your team was a thing? I kind of miss that and the worldwide impact this game had in general. Seriously, that was the closest thing we had to world peace.
