Peter Dinklage Stars In Psychological Post-Apocalyptic Movie I Think We’re Alone Now

Game of Thrones eight and final season might still be more or less a year away from its premiere, but it looks like fans are going to see more of Tyrion Lannister star Peter Dinklage in a new post-apocalyptic movie.

Working together with Super 8's Elle Fanning, Dinklage is now starring in the upcoming Reed Morano (Billions, The Handmaid's Tale) science fiction movie, I Think We're Alone Now. Scheduled for release in September, the film made its world premiere during this year's Sundance Film Festival and so far it's raked in pretty great reviews.

A post-apocalyptic movie, I Think We're Alone Now tells the story of Del, the only living human left on the planet – well, until Grace comes in and disturbs the utopia of solitude that he's created for himself after the obliteration of the human race. Described as a "visceral psychological journey," the movie tries to explore "human behavior and the undeniable need for companionship."

There's a brand new trailer for the film that you can check out above.

The trailer starts out dark and heavy, but as it goes along we get to see a few lighthearted moments. I Think We're Alone Now certainly seems like a careful exploration of the human psyche, and in the different moments we get to see in the trailer, we see Dinklage giving a superb performance.

I Think We're Alone Now is set for release on September 14, 2018.
