Peter Dinklage on Game of Thrones Ending Next Year

Ever since Game of Thrones premiered in 2011, the show has grown to be one of the most popular ones to ever come out of HBO. Peter Dinklage had just won an Emmy for playing GoT's Tyrion Lannister, and he shares some of his thoughts on the show finally ending next year.

As per Indiewire, Dinklage had this to say about the final season:

"It was very sad… This is not only a great TV show to be part of, but it was an enormous family to be part of." He concluded by saying it was … [it's] definitely hard to say goodbye to because it wasn't just saying goodbye to the show, [it] was saying goodbye to a life over there."

No doubt Dinklage certainly has Game of Thrones to thank for his rise in popularity. After coming out as Tyrion, Dinklage has landed roles in X-Men: Days of Future Past, Avengers: Infinity War, and an upcoming movie called I Think We're Alone Now.

Even Dinklage's work before GoT has been resurfacing online. The official 30 Rock page on Youtube dug up Dinklage's guest appearance as a guy Liz Lemon was dating:

Going back to Thrones, the show had decided to skip out a release of a season this year to make up for the production demands of the Season 8. Though it may not be ideal for some fans, I'm willing to wait as long as we get some high-quality episodes for the last season.

Game of Thrones 8 is set to come out sometime next year.
