People Are Blaming Pokemon's Detective Pikachu For Facebook's Downtime

The first trailer for the upcoming live-action Detective Pikachu film has finally been released, and many fans have shared their reactions online. However, Facebook crashed immediately following the reveal and people are blaming Detective Pikachu for it.

It looks like the Facebook crash only affected some U.S. regions, so many fans took it to Twitter to blame the viral trailer. They even used some Pokemon memes and screenshots from the film to express the blame. Check out the tweets:

"The story begins when ace private eye Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son Tim to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry's former Pokémon partner, Detective a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who is a puzzlement even to himself. Detective Pikachu is set to release in theaters on May 10, 2019.
