Peacemaker Episode 7 Ending Explained

In Peacemaker Episode 7, Stop Dragon My Heart Around, the episode picked up where the previous run left off and Peacemaker is being pressed by the Evergreen Police Department, now full of Butterflies, as the diary that Adebayo planted has been revealed to the public. Adebayo came clean and revealed being the daughter of Amanda Waller and that she was instructed to do so by her mom.

While Harcourt was disappointed, they had to flee and Murn secured them someplace else to lay off and plan for their next move while Peacemaker and the other guys go up against the Butterflies to end it once and for all, only to come across Whiter Dragon and his cronies.

Needless to say, it was a bloody episode. Murn was cornered by the Butterflies headed by Goff who is now inside Detective Song and he had to sacrifice himself so that Adebayo and Harcourt could hide. Before dying in the hands of Song, Murn was able to telepathically communicate with Harcourt, entrusting the team and the mission to her.

On the other hand, Peacemaker came face to face with his father, White Dragon, and he, along with Vigilante, Eagly, and Economos, faced a militia that Auggie brought. When taunted, Peacemaker showed he got some real “daddy issues” that scarred him for life and kept him damaged until now. As a result, he killed his own father.

It was a really dark episode when you think of it. It is so messed up that even when there were moments that you’d laugh, two deaths happened in the end. One was a sacrifice by Murn, showing how genuine his intentions are, and the other was a death due to bottled-up feeling of being repressed by his own father. Peacemaker just turned everything upside down really quick.

Now, Harcourt is in charge of the team and they still have to stop an alien invasion from happening.
