Paul Bettany Confirms He’s Returning As Vision For Avengers 4

With Thanos on the hunt for all the Infinity Stones and the Mind Stone smack dab in the middle of Vision's forehead, a lot of people are definitely sure that Vision will bite the dust in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. That doesn't seem to be the case as Vision actor Paul Bettany has confirmed that he'll be appearing in Avengers 4 as well.

During an interview with Collider, Bettany explains:

"Yes, it really did. It felt like the biggest movie that I've ever made and will ever make, and we've still got to make the [next] one. It's f***ing crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my make-up, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn't. It was where all of the trailers were. It was just massive. It's massive! The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast members, you're like, ‘How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood, this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!'"

There are definitely a lot of scenarios that could explain Bettany's appearance in Avengers 4. Some guess that Vision will actually be able to survive without the mind stone, and the loss of it will simply just render him powerless. There's also the possibility that Thanos will complete the gauntlet in this movie instead of Infinity War. It's also entirely plausible that Vision will be brought back to life in the end of the movie, or maybe he'll just be in a flashback.

A lot of excitement is definitely building up for the release of Infinity War. This movie would mark the culmination of over 10 years of Marvel cinema, and all the actors involved cannot emphasize enough on how huge the movie will be. Let's hope the Russo Brothers live up to the hype.
