Marty is working with Wendy to make an immunity deal between their crime boss (the drug lord is Omar Navarro played by Felix Solis) and the FBI. However, there's a lot more tension building-up alongside these conflicts. Marty and Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner) are not in good terms, and it looks like their relationship is not getting any better. The Byrde children are stepping into their own in the family business.
