While the original manga already had a sizeable following before the anime, it’s fair to say that the adaptation boosted its popularity a lot, enough that lots of Oshi no Ko cosplays are being shared online.

Ai Hoshino Is the Latest Trending Cosplay Character
Despite the tragic events of the first episode, Ai Hoshino is the most popular character in the anime at this point.
While we won’t see her again in the anime, her appearance in the premiere was truly memorable.
Because of this, it’s hard not to come across Ai Hoshino cosplay photos when browsing social media sites. Here are but a few examples:
Aside from being such a memorable character, Ai’s appearance and her cute idol dress are no doubt extra reasons lots of cosplayers and anime fans are drawn to her.
While most Ai cosplays online feature her signature pink idol outfit, some cosplayers have opted for a darker take on Ai. Specifically, they recreated her harrowing death scene.
Ai’s death is easily one of the most memorable scenes of the anime so far because of how sad and traumatic it is, so it’s no surprise that these cosplays got a lot of attention online.

Oshi no Ko: Other Characters Also Cosplayed
While Ai is no doubt the favorite of many cosplayers, there are an increasing number of fans who are cosplaying the show’s other characters too.

As the anime continues, it’s likely that we’ll see even more of these cosplays.
Of course, fan-favorite Kana Arima is also getting some love, with cosplayers dressing up as the former child actress.
