Fans still need to wait a bit longer before the anime’s next episode, but this new video should make the wait a bit easier. Earlier today, the official Oshi no Ko YouTube channel uploaded a real-life version of the Pieyon dance featuring Ruby Hoshino’s VA and an actual bodybuilder.
While it’s not a 1:1 recreation of the dance, the bodybuilder’s impressive physique makes him a true real-life version of Pieyon. Though he’s actually not the first one to do so.
Not the First Time the Pieyon Dance Is Recreated in Real Life
Before the shocking events involving Akane Kurokawa in the last two episodes, Oshi no Ko's funny Pieyon dance trended online given how much effort was put into the sequence.
Soon after its release, fans shared edited versions of the dance thanks to the helpful green screen in the background of the scene.
Not to be outdone, an idol group in Japan also came out with their version that recreates the scene. Check it out here:
Uploaded just five days ago, this dance video now has over 1 million views, as it’s an impressive real-life version of the scene.
After all, aside from a buff Pieyon, two members of the group also donned Ruby and Kana’s outfits.
Not to be outdone, the anime’s official channel also came out with its own Pieyon dance videos.
Though even before the latest one, a one-hour dance video was released a few weeks ago to the delight of fans.

Ruby VA and Actual Bodybuilding YouTuber Recreate the Oshi no Ko Pieyon Dance
The latest video might just be their best one though, as it features popular Japanese bodybuilding YouTuber Naotaka Yokokawa, who proves that he’s the real-life Pieyon in this dance.
Joining him is Yurie Igoma, the voice actress of Ruby, who has appeared in many behind-the-scenes videos for the anime.
In the video, Igoma wears a pink tracksuit that’s become her signature attire.

It has just been a couple of hours since the video was shared, and it already amassed hundreds of thousands of views, with many fans praising the effort that went into making it.
And as expected, some are now asking for a one-hour version of the dance. Though we won’t be surprised if a version like that is actually shared soon.
Oshi no Ko will continue with Episode 8, which will be released next week on HIDIVE.
