While the second episode focused mostly on Aqua and Ruby, Episode 3 centered around Kana. Because of her appearance, Kana Arima is quickly becoming the favorite character of many Oshi no Ko anime fans.
Kana appeared a bit in the first episode, but now, anime-only fans can finally understand why lots of manga readers consider her their favorite character.

Kana Arima Makes a Big Impression in Oshi no Ko Episode 3
Jokingly called Baking Soda-chan, Kana is easily one of the fan favorites among Oshi no Ko manga readers, and for good reason.
Without getting into manga spoiler territory, Kana’s haughty yet charming personality, coupled with her cute appearance, has made her one of the series' most talked about characters.
While she’ll get even more time to shine as the anime progresses, Episode 3 already showed off her charms.
Kana still has some of her annoying traits from her childhood (at least for Aqua and Ruby), but she has matured a lot based on her recent appearance.
In the episode, she also explained how difficult it was for her to get roles as she got older, which helped her mature.
Despite the difficulties she has gone through, she still maintains a positive personality, drawing many fans to her.
It also helps that she has a lot of funny and adorable reactions that have prompted lots of memes and fan art.

Kana Memes Take Over the Fanbase
The most popular meme is no doubt her identity as Baking Soda-chan based on Ruby’s misinterpretation of her nickname.
To go along with this, the show’s Twitter account shared a GIF of Kana’s funny baking soda-licking scene.
After Episode 3, the account shared another funny GIF, this time of Kana’s reaction to being called Loli-senpai by Ruby.
As expected, it got a lot of likes and retweets from fans.
These GIFs have also inspired memes, with some even popping up in unexpected places.
For instance, there’s a hilarious Formula 1 and Kana crossover meme that was shared on Reddit.
Specifically, it features Kana’s baking soda-licking animation turned into an F1 car, which surprisingly works.
