After the announcement of its 90-minute first episode back in October, the highly anticipated Oshi no Ko anime adaptation just got a new trailer that revealed its April 2023 release date and new voice cast members.

Previously, the anime was only confirmed to premiere sometime in 2023. And at the time, only the voice actor of the main character was revealed.

Now, the new trailer which was uploaded on the show’s official YouTube channel revealed lots of new info.

Oshi no Ko New Cast Members Announced

Previously, only the voice of Ai Hoshino was revealed, and it is none other than Rie Takahashi, a seiyuu that many anime fans are no doubt familiar with as she has voiced various roles in popular shows.

Takahashi’s most well-known roles include Emilia in Re:Zero, Megumin in KonoSuba, Takagi in Teasing Master Takagi-san, Sumi in Rent-a-Girlfriend, and Anzu in Romantic Killer.

Now though, the rest of the principal voice cast members were revealed via the show’s official Twitter account.

Along with the VAs, new images of the characters were also shared.

While Takahashi is arguably one of the most popular anime voice actresses, it’s interesting to note that the rest of the Oshi no Ko main cast is composed mainly of rookie voice actors or at least VAs known for supporting roles.

The new cast members include:

  • Aqua – Takeo Otsuka
  • Child Aqua – Yumi Uchiyama
  • Ruby – Yurie Igoma
  • Goro – Kent Ito
  • Sarina – Tomoyo Takayanagi

Of the five new cast members, Yumi Uchiyama is the most experienced as she has played several popular roles, including Rudeus Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, as well as Puck in Re:Zero.
