David Ayer’s original script for 2016’s Suicide Squad has surprisingly made its way online. According to CBR.com, the script, which is now a deleted tweet, contained a more cohesive storyline for the DC film.
It is no secret that the majority of DC fans have long been seeking Warner Bros. to release David Ayer’s cut of Suicide Squad, especially since the premiered film did not peak the fans’ expectations.
Ayer previously described the company as a “studio hack job”, which very much coincides with what Zack Snyder told on his original Justice League.
Snyder detailed that the original Batman vs. Superman was supposedly “darker and weirder” whereas WB demanded the film to be “funnier” since “people want funnier movies.”
Now, the original Suicide Squad script apparently contained better delivery with much prominent roles for Jared Leto's Joker and Ben Affleck's Batman.
Like, say, Joker had a bigger role to play, Deadshot (Will Smith) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) had a little romance story going on.
The alleged leaked script also featured more Batman scenes, especially one particular scene detailing how the Caped Crusader defeated Killer Croc.
While the source of the leaker remains vague and unconfirmed, the leaked script was made viral before it had to be taken down from social media platforms.
This led DC fans to believe that the script was authentic.

Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Studios have yet to comment on the supposedly authentic script leak going viral, so it is crucial to take this with a grain of salt for now.
It remains to be seen how Ayer’s cut could possibly make its way towards fans without facing legal consequences.
However, with DC fans being more insistent in unraveling the secret story behind-the-scenes, this script is likely to resurface once someone in the fandom lands their hands on it.
Let’s not forget that Ayer himself openly said: “As far as my cut [goes] — of course I want it seen. And I believe there’s a real shot at it. It just won’t be tomorrow.”
