Ong Seung Wu's agency, Fantagio, revealed that the idol-turned-actor would begin his mandatory military service on April 17. He will prepare himself to become an active-duty soldier.

Ong Seong Wu's Visuals Dominate Internet
Before his enlistment, Ong Seung Wu talked to his fans through a YouTube Live on Friday. He greeted his fans and showed to them his new haircut before entering the military.
He left everyone shocked as he shaved all his hair. According to the 20th Century Girl actor, he wanted to try the style instead of leaving an inch or less on his head.

On the Korean online community theqoo, fans praised Ong Seong Wu's visuals despite his shaved head. Among the comments read:
"So it wasn't his hair that made him good looking.”

Ong Seung Wu debuted as a member of Wanna One in 2017 after making it to the final list on Mnet's Produce 101. He soon started his acting career and debuted as an actor in At Eighteen.
He also conquered the film industry through Life is Beautiful.
Ong Seung Wu Leaves Fans Gift Before Enlistment
Oh Seung Wu has been tapped to appear in the hit drama Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon before his military enlistment.
The Kdrama series, which serves as a sequel to Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, will feature Lee Yoo Mi as the female lead. The other cast members include Byun Woo Seok, Kim Hae Sook, and Kim Jung Eun.
The first installment featured Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik. The sequel will tell the story of, Do Bong Soon's distant cousin Kang Nam Soon, who also has immense strength. Her mother and grandmother also have the same capability.
Ong Seung Wu will take the role of Kang Hee Sik. He is a detective of a secret investigation team that is assigned to investigate drugs in Gangnam.
