One Piece Odyssey is out now, and aside from featuring new characters made by Eiichiro Oda, it also features some story reveals that are of interest to fans. Specifically, it seems that One Piece Odyssey reveals new Void Century lore.
Odyssey is the latest video game in the franchise, and it’s a turn-based RPG that lets players control Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Crew. It was released on January 13 on PC and consoles.
One Piece Odyssey Void Century Lore
Given that the game started development years ago, it is set around the time of the Whole Cake Island saga. Though as with all the other One Piece games, the story isn’t considered part of the canon.
Despite this, it still features a new island and characters that were created by Oda himself.
Plus, the game’s appeal is that it lets players experience a new story involving the Straw Hat Crew, complete with flashbacks to some iconic moments in the series.
For comparison, previous One Piece games limited players to only playing Luffy. Meanwhile, other titles are fighting games that aren’t exactly story-driven.
Following its release, some One Piece content creators such as @newworldartur shared that the game is a treat for One Piece fans, especially as it features new Void Century lore which remains one of the series’ biggest mysteries.
Despite the non-canon status of the game’s story, the lore reveals may resurface in the manga. Or at the very least, these might be hints at what will be revealed in the manga’s final arc.

One Piece’s Ancient Kingdom Symbol
While Artur’s previous tweet did not mention what Void Century lore was revealed at first, he did share a tweet a couple of days after with an interesting look at what seems to be the Ancient Kingdom’s symbol.
Based on the latest event of the One Piece manga, the Ancient Kingdom is at the center of what happened during the Void Century.
Currently, the Kingdom has yet to be depicted, though it seems that this symbol of the Kingdom confirms a long-running theory.
Even before the recent lore reveals by Vegapunk in the manga, some fans have already been making theories about the Ancient Kingdom.
For instance, a Reddit user believed that the Ancient Kingdom has a symbol with eight points. This is based on various symbols where Poneglyphs were found.
Some even went as far as to say that this Ancient Kingdom symbol refers to eight ancient nations from the Void Century.
Right now, this is all just speculation. Though even if the game’s story is non-canon, the lore reveals may give fans more clues about the remaining mysteries of the series.
