Here’s What Happened Before One Piece Chapter 1083
The title of One Piece Chapter 1082 is Let’s Go and Take It! featuring a reader request cover of Chopper confusing Zeus for Cotton Day and nearly eating him.
The chapter begins with a news headline that reads, "Navy HQ Vice Admiral T-Bone dies."
His passing has sent shockwaves around the world, but the Navy did not reveal the cause of his death.
At Marine Headquarters, Sengoku asks Otsuru if the killer has been found.
Otsuru replies that they have no leads and that the killer’s family must be living a comfortable and happy life now.
Sengoku remarks that they are living at the end of days, knowing that they were stabbed in the back by the same citizens they swore to defend.
Otsuru replies that people change due to poverty and money, as happened to T-Bone in Pepe Kingdom.
The moment a bounty has been placed on a marine officer, it is not only the pirates who are after the reward.
Sengoku concurs, asking how the marines can sacrifice their lives to help the people if they are afraid of being killed by them.
Otsuru goes on to say that they may have disregarded Buggy and what he had in mind.
Sengoku believes that they must eliminate the Cross Guild sooner rather than later; otherwise, the troops' morale will suffer!
Sengoku notices Hina and inquires about Garp because he wants to suggest a new flavor of crackers to the Vice Admiral.
Hina responds that Garp is on his way to Fullalead with the sword and Kujaku to save Koby.
At Emptee Bluffs, New World, T-Bone’s killer gets an audience with Buggy to express his gratitude for sending money to his family.
The pirates began to celebrate as Buggy welcomed T-Bone’s killer to their fold.
The celebration was interrupted as one of Buggy’s men arrived to inform everyone that the Cross Guild’s flagship was ready.
Buggy was the figurehead, which clearly disgusted Mihawk and Crocodile, who chastised and battered Buggy in the meeting room.
They also hooked Buggy's head while they discussed the Cross Guild's future.
Buggy steps in, arguing that Mihawk and Crocodile are wasting their power by pursuing small-time goals.
And now that Shanks has made his move, it is only natural for the Cross Guild, particularly him, to ascend to the position of King of Pirates and seize all of the world's wealth and power.
After all these years, Buggy still recalls the times when he looked up to Shanks.
Sadly, Shanks let him down by changing his mind. That's why, when Buggy learned that Shanks was on the move, he felt compelled to follow suit.
He encourages Mihawk and Crocodile to take the world's best treasure—One Piece.
However, Mihawk retorts, asking Buggy if he wants them to fight Blackbeard, Shanks, and even the Straw Hat Pirates.
But Buggy persists, claiming that all they need to do is beat their competition to the punch.
His remarks reverberate at Emptee Bluffs, pushing the others to accede to his rash idea, much to Mihawk and Crocodile's surprise.
At Kamabakka Queendom, Sabo and the refugees return on a ship from Lulusia, the kingdom island that has just vanished.
Koala kicks Sabo for worrying her after the latter lost his signal and hasn’t heard anything from him.
Sabo apologizes for not being able to obtain a jamming transponder because they would have been able to intercept his call.
Sabo further tells Koala that he issued an indirect call signal, despite the fact that he was not in Lulusia. Morley and the others also charged Sabo for causing them concern.
Belo Betty welcomes the Lulusia refugees and advises them to rest and clear their heads.
She also asked them if they were serious about joining the Revolutionary Army, to which they all agreed.
Afterward, Sabo, Monkey D. Dragon, and Emporio Ivankov sat down to talk about what happened to Kuma.
Dragon believes that Kuma might have some directive to return to Marijoa at any moment.
Emporio asks Sabo if they can inform the captains about everything, but Sabo says they can't since it would jeopardize their lives.
Sabo is determined to tell Dragon and Emporio what happened in Sacred Marijoa before the chapter concludes.
