Somewhere in a hidden chamber, Apoo is talking to Drake. He says he knows he's a navy spy — but this doesn't matter to him because he wants to form an alliance to take down Kaido. Meanwhile, Usopp, Tama, Nami, and the others are running away from the fire. While on their way, they see Kinemon's lower body running around. Usopp catches his body and starts talking to him, but Nami says he's not going to hear him because the lower part of his body doesn't have ears. Nami draws the crescent mark on his body, signaling that they're an ally. Kinemon requests that they go to where he and Kiku are.
Kinemon overhears Kanjuro and Orochi talking via the Den Den Mushi. Kanjuro is at his final moments, and Orochi uses this to praise him and motivate him. Kanjuro creates his last painting, a giant monster created with flames. Orochi wants Kanjuro's creation to blow up the whole castle. Meanwhile, Momonosuke is still trying to save the island, making as many Flame Clouds as he can. Yamato is still running towards the armory.
At the battle between Big Mom, Law, and Kid, a flashback shows Law and Kid having a conversation about their "awakened" abilities. With their awakened power, Law launches an attack called Kroom, attacking Big Mom internally. On the other hand, Kid uses Assign, turning her into a magnet. All the weapons within the area and metal bars crash onto her.

He isn't sure and is wondering if Germa's powers caused this. Not wanting to end up like his brothers, he destroys the Raid Suit. He then calls Zoro via Den Den Mushi and asks him to kill him if he loses his heart or mind.
