However, she became more famous when her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, were arrested for allegedly paying a $500,000 bribe to get her and her sister, Isabella Rose Giannulli, into the University of Southern California.

The fraudulent application to the university became a major part of the 2019 college admission bribery scandal.

In the same year the scandal began, she had over a million followers on both accounts. Now, she has 1.2 million followers on Instagram and 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Jade talked about the 2010 college admission scandal in an interview with E! News at the 2023 Oscars viewing party for the Elton John AIDS Foundation on Sunday, March 12.

So, what lessons had she learned from the issue?

"I think just be very self-aware and very aware of what you're putting out there and really owning that," she said. "I'm more than blessed, and I have a beautiful life, and a lot of people have it really hard."

Loughlin served less than two months in prison in late 2020 for her involvement in the case, while her husband, Mossimo, completed his five-month sentence in April 2021.

After what happened, Jade is now moving on.

"I just have to remember that because although what I feel like I went through might have been hard for me personally—it's OK, you know what I mean?" she explained. "I'm all about the growth era."

Jade is thankful to have a “tight-knit support circle” following the scandal.

"I feel good. I feel like I have such a supportive family," she added. "We've all stayed really close through everything, so that's all you can really ask for. Life is crazy."
