Warner Bros might not be a part of San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H this year but the company has decided to give fans something memorable before the show; an official poster for Wonder Woman 1984. The sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman has a lot of expectations behind it and we now have a new poster to look over, which also has Diana in a brand-new costume that is way too colorful.
The brand-new Wonder Woman costume has Diana sporting some golden armor with red pants. It's a look that is pretty unfamiliar to comic book fans, though they might just be matching the psychedelic ‘80s feel and she will still have her original colors. Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins shared the post and Gal Gadot retweeted it as well.
You could say that this costume is unexpected but so is the whole plot surrounding this film. Steve Trevor is coming back to life after sacrificing himself to save innocent lives and the big explanation to this will have to be good, otherwise, fans will be disappointed. Kristen Wiig will also be making her DCEU debut as Cheetah, who might be the most well-known Wonder Woman villain.
Wonder Woman 1984 comes out on June 5, 2020.
