From cute Nendoroids to NSFW unofficial figurines, lots of Chainsaw Man figures have been revealed over the past couple of months. Now though, MAPPA unveiled a new Chainsaw Man Power and Makima figure in nurse outfits that’s based on a popular official artwork.
While neither Power nor Makima has donned nurse outfits at any point during the story, there’s an official Chainsaw Man illustration that’s quite famous among the fanbase, enough that it has inspired numerous fan works.
Iconic Makima and Power Nurse Outfit Art
Specifically, this official illustration was released as a poster in the Jump GIGA 2019 Summer Volume 1 magazine, and it depicts Makima and Power in risqué nurse outfits.
While Chainsaw Man was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump previously, this poster was instead included in Jump GIGA, a seasonal magazine by Shueisha.
Instead of being a weekly or monthly publication, Jump GIGA often features one-shots and short serials. It also usually has promotional materials for ongoing Jump manga.
This Makima and Power nurse illustration was only released once, but it has become an iconic artwork among fans.
It was even referenced in the fourth ending animation of the Chainsaw Man anime.
Aside from the ED, the Makima and Power nurse concept is popular among cosplayers.
In fact, you’re bound to find one online if you look up any cosplay shoots for the series.
In the anime and the manga, the characters usually only wear suits or casual clothes, so it makes sense that this nurse costume art continues to be popular.

MAPPA Unveils Official Makima and Power Nurse Outfit Figure
Recently, MAPPA revealed a figure that accurately recreates the iconic illustration.
As you can see, it features the exact pose, expressions, and details as the original artwork, making it quite NSFW.
Aside from being detailed, this figure is also large as it has a 1/7 scale. This should make it a must-have for the biggest Chainsaw Man fans and anime figure collectors.
As expected, it does not come cheap as the figure is priced at an eye-watering JPY 54,010 (around USD 405).
If the price tag and the questionable nature of the figure won’t stop you from getting one, the figure is now available for pre-order on the MAPPA online shop and in other anime merch stores.
Pre-orders are available now until May 12, 2023, with a scheduled delivery date of February 2024.
