After months of anticipation, it looks like Disney is finally ready to go full-on promo mode ahead of Obi-Wan Kenobi's release this May. Today, Star Wars unveiled our first official look at the upcoming spinoff series led by Ewan McGregor and it's more than enough to send you into overdrive. The Scottish actor graces the cover of Entertainment Weekly's latest issue in what is dubbed as the "rematch of the century", complete with his Jedi robe and iconic blue lightsaber.

Obi-Wan's post-prequel trilogy look is unlike anything fans expected but it seems to incorporate elements of his past looks. Surprisingly, Ewan is bringing back Kenobi's signature mullet from Attack of the Clones which is an interesting choice of look, to say the least, 'cause you would expect him to actually resemble Alec Guinness' appearance from the original trilogy. At long last, Disney is starting to hype up the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi but the real question is, when will they actually drop the trailer? Unlike Marvel, Lucasfilm hasn't been known for giving fans a proper heads up when it comes to teasers and it looks like things won't be different for the upcoming show. I have a good feeling though that the trailer we've all been dying to see will finally arrive any day this week.

Obi-Wan Kenobi begins streaming on May 25th, exclusively on Disney+.
