There are only a few confirmed characters in Obi-Wan Kenobi including the titular Jedi Master and Darth Vader. Naturally, the mysterious cast has given way to several theories. However, the latest theory purports a major connection to The Book of Boba Fett.
It is believed that Obi-Wan Kenobi will feature Black Krrsantan who had previously made his live-action debut in The Book of Boba Fett. The Wookiee already has a connection to the Jedi Master, having first appeared in the Star Wars comic books as he hunted Kenobi down. In the comics, this led to an epic showdown where the Jedi injured the bounty hunter's eye.
Interestingly, we see a familiar scar on Black Krrsantan when he appeared in The Book of Boba Fett. The appearance of the scar has led to speculations that the fight with Kenobi will be featured in the Star Wars series.
We're loving the idea of Black Krrsantan showing up in Obi-Wan Kenobi and possibly going up against the Jedi. However, it is important to remember that the character is not yet confirmed to appear in the Disney+ show. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will also star Ewan McGregor as the titular Jedi, Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars, and Bonnie Piesse as Beru Lars. They will be joined by Rupert Friend, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie, Maya Erskine, and Rory Ross.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series premieres on Disney+ on May 25, 2022.
