Jennifer Lawrence may have made her on-screen debut as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies, but she has become popular for her sarcastic humor.
To prove that the actress has what it takes to be in a comedy, she is leading the cast of the newly-released film, No Hard Feelings. But despite being a comedy, the film is actually Rated-R.
But there is a very fine line between comedies and romantic films. This leads to a question in viewers' minds: is No Hard Feelings a romantic movie?

What Is No Hard Feelings Movie About?
The official synopsis of No Hard Feelings reads:
"On the brink of losing her childhood home, Maddie discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to 'date' their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, before he leaves for college. To her surprise, Maddie soon discovers the awkward Percy is no sure thing."
The film was directed by Gene Stupnitsky from an original idea he conceptualized with John Phillips. Although the plot is rooted in reality, it is purely fictional.
Considering its storyline, it's easy to see that this is a romantic comedy. Many who have already watched the film say that it is "one of the best in its genre."
The film has been given a Rated R classification for its raunchy humor, some nudity, and brief drug use.

Will No Hard Feelings Be On Netflix?
No Hard Feelings made its theatrical debut in the US on June 23, 2023.
Although the film is still available in theaters, it is already slated to come out on Netflix as part of Sony Pictures' output deal. This deal specifies that movies released from 2022 onwards will be released on Netflix US for an 18-month period.
We don't know for sure what this first window is, but most movies have been released on the streaming giant exactly 120 days after they were released in theaters. With this, we can estimate that No Hard Feelings should come to Netflix US by October 21, 2023.
But then again, there have been some movies that were released up to 180 days after their theatrical release. So this could also mean that the film may come out sometime in December.
Outside the US, the film's release in other Netflix markets will depend on the agreement made. There are some regions that will get the movie the same time as the US. Meanwhile, the movie could also come to other regions in 2024 or even by 2025.
