Nintendo Releases a Free Demo of Pokemon Let's Go for Hesitant Fans

If you saw Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee and are hesitant to pick it up, there is now a way for you to try the game out without paying for it. That's right, Nintendo surprisingly released a demo for Pokemon Let's Go, which has caught many of us by surprise since there was no build towards that.

According to Nintendo, players will be able to explore Viridian Forest, catch Pokemon, and battle other trainers in this demo. The demo will randomly choose if Pikachu or Eevee as the player's starter, so those curious about these games can try out this demo a few times and see which one suits them more.

Unlike other demos, Nintendo was quick to point out that the data will not be transferred to the main game should players decide to buy it. This isn't a bad thing since buying the game does allow players to properly start their journey, whereas the demo just plops players into Viridian Forest.

Fans are pretty confused about the news since previous Pokemon demos were released before the main title. The ones for 3DS, such as Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire and Sun/Moon, were put out a month or so before the actual games. Plus, those demos gave players a bonus Pokemon for purchasing the demo, like Ash Greninja from Sun and Moon.

Still, fans that are curious about the demo can now try it out and hope for the best. It is free after all, so there's no harm in checking it out.
