It’s not often that josei manga get adapted into an anime, at least compared to shojo titles. Thus, fans of the genre will be happy to know that the josei series Nina the Starry Bride is getting an anime adaptation.

Nina the Starry Bride’s adaptation was revealed via the show’s newly launched official website and X (formerly Twitter) account. An announcement video was also shared, though it’s not a proper trailer.

What the new video did show were the anime’s three main voice cast members, as well as official character art.

Nina the Starry Bride Reveals Main Cast Members

The anime’s lead role of Nina will be voiced by Minami Tanaka, a voice actress who has made waves recently following her surprise marriage announcement.

Even before that, Tanaka is a popular VA, especially among Fate/Grand Order players. That’s because she is a fixture in the Chaldea Radio Station program for the game alongside Rie Takahashi (Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko).

As for her anime roles, Tanaka is known as the voice of Lily Hoshikawa in Zombie Land Saga, Mary Saotome in Kakegurui, Eris in Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, and Minami Katayama in Wake Up, Girls!

The next VA in the show’s cast is Yuichiro Umehara who will voice Prince Azure. Umehara is the VA of characters like Goblin Slayer in the titular series, Weather Report in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Seiya Ryuuguuin in Cautious Hero.

Rounding out the main cast is Koki Uchiyama as Seto. He is the voice of Izumi Miyamura in Horimiya, Kei Tsukishima in Haikyuu!!, and Toge Inumaki in Jujutsu Kaisen.
