There is little doubt that Nicolas Cage and Keanu Reeves are two of the most iconic movie stars of their generation and they also happen to be pretty good friends. Still, there appears to be one thing that has left the Renfield star with "mixed emotions" about the John Wick: Chapter 4 actor. Cage has just revealed that Reeves allegedly hustled him at a game of pool.
Nicolas Cage and Renfield co-star Nicholas Hoult recently took part in a Reddit AMA to promote their new movie and as expected, the two actors had awesome answers to several fan questions. One fan asked them about their favorite Keanu Reeves movie and interestingly, Cage had a cool story to tell about Reeves.
"Well… Keanu kicked my ass at billiards one night. He came up to my house on his motorcycle, and he was making these impossible shots. He said 'now I dunno if I can get that shot or this shot' and he made every single shot. So I have mixed emotions about the skill that Keanu has because he completely dominated me at pool," Cage said.
Finally, he confirmed that he enjoyed some of Keanu Reeves' older works.
"Umm, I like some of the early stuff like Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. I thought he was great in River’s Edge. He was just great in that movie, yeah," Cage said.
It's interesting to know that Nicolas Cage and Keanu Reeves were able to hang out and enjoy a game of pool, and it's even better to learn that Reeves is great at just about everything he does. We just hope that they could have a rematch so Cage can get his revenge.
Keanu Reeves' John Wick: Chapter 4 is now screening in theaters worldwide. Nicolas Cage plays Dracula in Renfield which is set to premiere on April 14, 2023.
