Next Assassin's Creed Game Leaked, With Merchandise For Proof

It's been one year since Assassin's Creed Origins set things right for the franchise and it looks like that game is already getting a sequel. Thanks to a very convincing leak, we can now confirm that Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the next game in the franchise and will supposedly take place in Greece.

Normally, taking a leaker's word as truth can be hard to do, but when they have merchandise from the game with logos that back it up, that's a decent sign of credibility. Thanks to Reset Era user AAMARMO we now know that the game will be called Assassin's Creed Odyssey and will take place in Greece, just like what the rumors said.

According to the leak, Odyssey will continue the adventures of Origins lead Bayek and detail how the Assassin's Brotherhood was found. Continuing the character's adventures was an interesting move and it will be interesting to see if fans get attached to him like they have Ezio.

Leaks are nothing new to fans of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed since this seems to happen to the game series on a regular basis. Even Origins was leaked, so this isn't too surprising to know. Heck, it's more surprising that the company is willing to release a game one year after their previous one. Guess some lessons can't be learned.

Expect to see Assassin's Creed Odyssey during E3 on June 10.
