Newt and His Brother Butt Heads in Photo from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

J.K. Rowling has found a way to bring us back to the Wizarding World with the Fantastic Beasts franchise, and we get to see the second installment—The Crimes of Grindelwald—later this year. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a new image of Newt Scamander and his brother Theseus.

It's been said that there is going to be some kind of rivalry between the two as Newt may have a romantic connection with Theseus' fiancée Leta Lestrange (also in the photo). After all, we do see a photo of Leta in Newt's suitcase in the first movie.

Then again, seeing that this is a prequel, some things have already come pre-determined. By the time the Potter stories start Newt is already married, and it's not to Leta, but to Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston). I wouldn't take my eyes off of Leta yet, though, since her family history is one rife with black magic and muggle-hating.

Maybe she has something to do with Bellatrix Lestrange becoming a Death Eater? What if Leta herself was a Death Eater?

Magizoologist Newt Scamander joins forces with young Albus Dumbledore to prevent the devious Gellert Grindelwald from raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald comes out Nov. 16.
