New WandaVision Merch Leak Might Have Spoiled Major MCU Return

As WandaVision approaches its still-to-be-announced premiere date later this year, the folks over at Marvel Studios have begun hyping up the arrival of the much anticipated Disney+ series by dropping several merchandises over the last couple of weeks. Now, a new merch leak is hinting at the possible return of a beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe character and that is none other than Wanda Maximoff's twin sibling Pietro aka Quicksilver whose first and only MCU appearance came in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Funko is set to release a full line of WandaVision Pop! vinyl figures and an alleged 2-pack leak is said to feature the mutant speedster and Vision. The leak was brought to our attention by Funko news page Serlent Pops. It's worth noting that the 2-pack will carry the WandaVision title instead of Avengers: Age of Ultron where the characters first appeared along with Wanda, so it is indeed safe to assume at this point that Quicksilver could be making his epic MCU comeback.

Now, I think it wouldn't be a shocker at all if Aaron Taylor-Johnson does in fact make his Marvel return and turns up in WandaVision in some capacity. We've all been speculating about it anyway since the concept of the show was announced last year. To those unaware, in the show, Wanda is set to warp reality, creating her own perfect world in the process to deal with her loss so it's only natural for her to bring back her fallen brother from the dead just like she did Vision. How it all goes down would be interesting, to say the least since we haven't seen Johnson in over five years but hey, he's an integral part of Wanda's life after all. This also begs the question: are there other deceased MCU characters that could potentially make their way back from the dead in the series? I guess we'll soon find out.

That said, WandaVision hits Disney+ later this year.
