It's still a long wait for The Batman but fans could never get bored with all the awesome updates on the highly anticipated DC movie. The latest update is a series of new images that include a closer look at The Riddler, Penguin, and Catwoman. In addition to that, there are a few behind-the-scenes pictures revealing how some of the most exciting scenes were filmed.
The new photos from The Batman were shared by Empire magazine and have also been posted on Twitter. The first two images are awesome portraits of Paul Dano's mysterious Riddler and Colin Farrell's Penguin. Check them out below.
Zoe Kravitz also gets her own stunning portrait as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. You can also see Robert Pattinson getting pointers from director Matt Reeves.
We also got several behind-the-scenes photos and stills from The Batman. One picture shows Bruce Wayne with Jeffrey Wright's Jim Gordon and it looks like they are investigating something together.
We're loving the new pictures and there is little doubt that the Empire magazine issue also reveals new details about The Batman. For now, we're just happy to see these images and hope we'll get more in the future.
The Batman follows the young Bruce Wayne in his second year as the Caped Crusader. During this time, Bruce investigates a serial killer simply known as The Riddler who is going after Gotham City's wealthy residents. Things get even more dangerous when the Riddler starts trying to communicate with Bruce.
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and will star Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth. The movie will hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
