New Superman: Man of Tomorrow Stills Reveal Lex Luthor, Lobo, and Martian Manhunter

While Justice League Dark: Apokolips War was a finale of sorts for DC's most recent string of animated movies, it was only for that specific universe. DC will still be making standalone films featuring some of their best characters, like the upcoming Superman: Man of Tomorrow. This movie has a lot of fans excited and its art style is already an improvement over the one that was kept for the previous DC animated universe.

DC has released some new stills from Man of Tomorrow, showing off better images of Lex Luthor and Lois Lane. Quality pictures of Martian Manhunter and Lobo are also shown, which is great since they are some pretty great characters in their own right. Funnily enough, Lobo did appear in the live-action Krypton show that didn't feature Superman so that's some interesting trivia.

The new art style for this is pretty great, with the thick outline surrounding characters giving it a more comic book-like feel. It's like a Western version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba but with Superman so that's nice. Will it look better in motion? Well yes, the previous trailers have shown that this movie looks leagues better than the previous films so here's hoping the story is a good one.

Fans will be able to watch Superman: The Man of Tomorrow on August 23 for digital buyers. The Blu-Ray will be coming out on September 8.
