New Stills from Black Widow Have Natasha Going Up Against Several Other Widows

While we haven't gotten an official delay on the movie yet, Marvel Studios is continuing to pump out promotional material for Black Widow. Just in, we have two new images from the film courtesy of Empire.

If you've watched the trailers, you'll know that the film will deal with the other women trained in the Black Widow program going up against Natasha Romanoff. What's interesting is, it's said that they will have all been brainwashed by the Taskmaster, but I'm guessing that Taskmaster is also a brainwashed soldier, and the real culprit will have been Rachel Weisz's Melina this whole time.

Speaking of Melina, you'll notice that she's missing from this shot of Natasha's supposed ‘family', then again, maybe this is a scene that's supposed to show Natasha and Yelena Belova breaking out Alexei/Red Guardian from whatever prison is housing him. It's still unsure if Red Guardian has powers of his own, but I can imagine he's a competent soldier nonetheless.

With cancellations for films in March and April, a lot of people are starting to think that Black Widow will be the next movie to get a delay. For now, I think Disney is just keeping a close eye on the news before they make any cancellations, after all, these delays are costing studios money, and they could meddle with plans that have already been set for later in the year. Fingers crossed everything gets back to normal in June.

Black Widow is still set to hit theaters on May 1.
