New Shazam! Image Released, Zachary Levi Talks Joining the Justice League

Aquaman was a huge success in the box office, and everyone is now looking forward to the release of Shazam! this coming April. We don't have a new full trailer at all, but a new image of Shazam has been released, and Zachary Levi just looks fantastic as the character.

With Justice League ending up as such a huge disappointment, WB had decided to put a hold on team-up movies to focus on solo superhero films. Of course, some people still expect some kind of team-up movie to happen down the line, and Zachary Levi is hopeful about it as well. He tells Empire:

"I hope I get to be part of the Justice League… At San Diego, Jason Momoa quite literally took me under his wing, put his arm around me and was like, ‘Welcome to the family.'"

Hopefully, we don't have to wait too long for this team-up. If anything, I'm sure Shazam will be part of his own group of super-powered people with the Shazam family likely to appear in the movie. A team-up with the Justice League should be the last thing on everyone's mind.

Though I'm still bummed we haven't gotten a full trailer for the film since the last SDCC, Shazam! still looks pretty fun. The movie is said to be embracing a lot of humor, much like Guardians of the Galaxy, and Levi fantastically pulls off the ‘kid trapped in Superman's body' character.

Catch Shazam! in theaters April 5.
