Prior to seeing Robert Pattinson's Batman in the camera test and behind-the-scenes shots director Matt Reeves previously shared, some fans had concerns about the casting because of the actor's slim features, which is quite far from the character's physique. Now that production is indefinitely shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, Pattinson tries to keep himself in shape for the role, and fans are quite surprised with his pictures of him spotted while jogging.

The images shared by Bat_Source on Twitter gave fans a sense of Pattinson's "leaner" physique for Batman. This is a fairly big contrast to the recent actors who portrayed the Dark Knight, who had a bulkier physique for the role.

That said, some fans prefer this look and others even think his lean physique is a better fit for the movie too, given that The Batman is set in the early years of Bruce Wayne as the vigilante. Others think that the Batsuit is bulkier in itself though, while others think the actor already looks "ripped" enough.

There are different versions of Batman that fans have seen throughout the years, so it is likely that Pattinson's portrayal and appearance is a bit different from what is expected. Some would still like to see the actor attain Batman's superhero body, but some think that his physique is already enough to portray a younger version of the Dark Knight.

Regardless of whether or not he attains the "superhero body" that some people want, fans still can't wait to see Reeves' take on and Pattinson's performance as the iconic DC character.

The Batman is currently scheduled for release on October 1, 2021.
