The awesome avatars of Jumanji: The Next Level just got some amazing new posters and a new character has been introduced.
The character posters showcase the avatars in interesting locations that were already teased in the new trailer for the sequel (via Toonado). Check them out below.
Dwayne Johnson's Smolder Bravestone looks cool although he is hanging from an icy cliff. Although he still looks the same, the avatar now belongs to Spencer's grandfather Eddie Gilpin, who is played by Danny Devito.
Franklin 'Mouse' Finbar keeps finding himself in mysterious caves with precious artifacts, doesn't he? The avatar played by Kevin Hart is now the avatar of Eddie's eccentric pal Milo Walker (Danny Glover).
Luckily, Martha gets to keep her original avatar Ruby Roundhouse, played by Karen Gillan. Martha is the only one who returns to Jumanji as the same character.
Professor Sheldon 'Shelly' Oberon might not be the ideal avatar for Fridge, but he's stuck with the character played by Jack Black in The Next Level.
Jefferson 'Seaplane' McDonough is back but this time, it isn't Alex gets this avatar. It has been revealed that Spencer ended up in the character played by Nick Jonas. He appears in the poster with Bethany's new avatar, the gorgeous black horse.
The new character played by Awkwafina also gets her own poster although her identity has not been revealed. There are speculations that she could be Alex's new avatar.
The third Jumanji film takes place after the events in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. In the sequel, Spencer tries to fix the destroyed game and somehow gets sucked back into the world of Jumanji. His friends immediately try to save him but realize that they have brought two other people with them into Jumanji.
The posters certainly have us hyped for the upcoming sequel now that we know what happened to Spencer. At the same time, we're looking forward to finding out how Bethany really feels about being a horse.
Jumanji: The Next Level will premiere on December 13.
