New Info on How Ant-Man & The Wasp Will 'Directly Connect' To Avengers 4 & More Promo Spots

Marvel Studios

Ever since Avengers: Infinity War was released in theaters, fans have been wondering how it will connect to Ant-Man and The Wasp. The trailers didn't show any direct connections to the war against Thanos but thanks to new promo spots and a featurette for the upcoming Marvel film, now we have an idea.

In the new featurette for the film, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige says that Ant-Man and The Wasp will "directly connect" to Avengers 4. We were already expecting that but it's good to get an actual confirmation about this.

Feige went on to say that "these characters are going to be very important going forward." Ant-Man and The Wasp will probably use the Quantum Realm to mess with the time and space

In one of the new TV spots, Scott Lang wakes up from a dream where he "saw the end of everything." It looks like the film is set before the events of Infinity War. It also shows Hank Pym saying, "Millions of lives at stake, it's the only chance we've got."

Watch the featurette above and the TV spots below:

Synopsis:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: "Ant-Man and The Wasp." In the aftermath of "Captain America: Civil War," Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he's confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man & The Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, David Dastmalchian, Randall Park, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hannah John-Kamen, and Michael Douglas, and it's set to release in theaters on July 6.
