New Image Shows Robert Pattinson’s Batman Broken Down

Matt Reeve's The Batman movie has yet to begin production, but it seems like fans are eager to see Robert Pattinson put on the cape as the DC Extended Universe's younger version of the Dark Knight.

There was a lot of shock when word came out that Warner Brothers was considering the Twilight alum for the role, and while some didn't feel that Pattinson was a good fit for the role, others have warmed up to the idea of the actor becoming the new Batman.

Now, it seems like new art of Pattinson as the Caped Crusader continues to make its way online as fans continue to wait for The Batman to begin filming. The latest art piece comes from John Regan on Twitter.

It's a pretty cool art piece, though we can't be entirely sure what kind of Batsuit Reeves has prepared for Pattinson in The Batman. Right now, there hasn't been that much news regarding the project, however, fans can assume that the film is currently in the middle of pre-production. Casting announcements may very well be made within the next few months, after all, the film has been given a 2020 production start date.

Fans have been busy guessing who the villain in The Batman might be and the most popular speculation points to a rogue's gallery appearing in the comic book movie. It would definitely be interesting to see Batman fighting against baddies like Catwoman, Penguin, the Riddler, Two-face, Firefly, and Mad Hatter.

Let's wait and see.

The Batman is set for release on June 25, 2021.
