Dragon Ball Super: Broly
will hit Japanese theaters in just a few days, and a new wave of promos are being released this week to get fans hyped for the upcoming film. The latest one gives us new footage of Vegeta looking ready to unleash his fighting spirit.

As you can see, the Saiyan Prince takes off his green jacket, revealing his battle armor as he fights Broly. Vegeta is seen fighting Broly in the Arctic region of Earth where he and Goku first encounter the villainous Saiyan. If you've seen the previous trailers, you'd know that Vegeta will eventually unleash his Super Saiyan God form for the first time (in canon). Vegeta's god form probably won't be enough to stop Broly's overwhelming power. He will have to swallow his pride and do one thing he hates: team-up with Goku and fuse to form Gogeta.

This is the story of a new Saiyan. Earth is peaceful following the Tournament of Power. Realizing that the universes still hold many more strong people yet to see, Goku spends all his days training to reach even greater heights. Then one day, Goku and Vegeta are faced by a Saiyan called 'Broly' who they've never seen before. The Saiyans were supposed to have been almost completely wiped out in the destruction of Planet Vegeta, so what's this one doing on Earth? This encounter between the three Saiyans who have followed completely different destinies turns into a stupendous battle, with even Freeza (back from Hell) getting caught up in the mix.
Dragon Ball Super is available for streaming on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami still airs the English dub of Dragon Ball Super on Adult Swim Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. It's also available to stream on Funimation. Dragon Ball Super: Broly will hit U.S. theaters on January 16.
