New Doctor Strange 2 Photo Offers Another Look at Patrick Stewart's Appearance

A lot of MCU fans are looking forward to seeing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, especially with the tease during the second trailer regarding Patrick Stewart's appearance.

While they only showed a portion of his back in that footage, a new image has emerged which gave us another extended look at Stewart's highly-anticipated appearance.

During the showing of the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' second trailer in the ScreenX format, thanks to its panoramic 270-degree screen format, we were able to see a better look at Patrick Stewart's appearance in the upcoming film in which it appears that he is sitting on a yellow chair similar to the comics and the 1990s animated series.

While it didn't show us Stewart's face, it still offers a much better look at the character since we've only seen a portion of his back. It also gives us a clue on what variation of the character that we might see, especially since we're now finding out that he isn't sitting on his usual chair from the Fox X-Men films and it is more in alignment with the comics.

This should add a lot more excitement for Stewart's appearance in the upcoming film as this further confirms more that he will have a significant part. You can also add to the fact that there are more surprise characters that are expected to show up which are still under wraps as of the moment.

The film's premise reads: "The MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary."

The cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. Sam Raimi directed the film while Kevin Feige serves as producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll, and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron.
