One of the most anticipated shows to arrive on Disney+ is Marvel's What If…? The series will explore alternate scenarios from the Infinity Saga featuring fan-favorite characters. While the animated show is yet to make its debut on the streaming platform, it's already receiving high demand from the fans and subscribers.
In a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter, third-party measurement firm Parrot Analytics revealed What If…? is one of the most in-demand Disney+ shows during its first week of launch. Plenty of details about the show still remain unknown but it was revealed that a Peggy Carter episode taking on the Captain America mantle is included, as well as a T'Challa as Star-Lord scenario.
MCU veterans are set to return to voice their respective characters for the show, which is likely one of the reasons that What If…? is among the list of the in-demand projects on Disney+. It also sets a testament of the MCU's success as well as the fans' love for the franchise. Needless to say, fans can't wait to see what's to come in the animated series, which will provide an entirely different and epic perspective to the storylines and Marvel characters that they have come to love.
Along with What If...?, the graph also includes the likes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, with The Mandalorian named as the most in-demand new series on the streaming service.
What If…? is set for release on Disney+ sometime in 2021.
