Captain Marvel has a lot of hype behind it right now, thanks to the inclusion of Skrulls, Kree, and past versions of characters like Nick Fury and Phil Coulson. Thanks to Empire Magazine, we got another look at some of this film's characters and they continue to look great, showing that the special effects and makeup team of Marvel's studio continue to shine.
We have our first look at some of the film's Skrulls and they look really good, living up to the expectations of many. They may not look as silly when compared to the Jack Kirby originals but they still wear purple, so that should be good enough for some. Plus, we know that they'll be shapeshifters so they could keep transforming for some fun visual flair.

Jude Law's mysterious Starforce character is also seen, along with a lesser-known member of the group. They appear to be in deep combat, so it looks like we'll see this group in action. We better expect Carol to be conflicted when taking on her former comrades. It would make for some great inner conflict for the character.

Reception to the movie has been mixed so far, thanks to the average-looking trailers outside of the most recent one. There's also a hint at some sexism, though not all comic book fans are like that. Sadly, there are some who are and they might try to derail this film's success just like they did for Black Panther.
Captain Marvel comes out on March 8.
