The CW's Batwoman is causing quite a stir on the internet. Despite the backlash that Ruby Rose has been receiving for playing the role, as well as underwhelming reviews from a handful of critics, the previous trailers for the series certainly had fans intrigued.

The latest DC project focuses on the story of Kate Kane, following Batman's mysterious disappearance, the Gotham City is in a desperate need for a savior. And since Kate has a passion for social justice, she strives to do so within the streets of Gotham as Batwoman.

Aside from Rachel Skarsten who will be playing Alice, the leader of the Wonderland Gang, the series will also feature two other villains.

TVLine confirmed castings for the series, which include Revenge alum Gabriel Mann who will be appearing as a guest star in Episode 3 as Thomas Elliot. Elliot is a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne, who eventually became a real estate mogul. The villain will be seen as a threat to Kate's identity. Elliot's character was previously played by Cole Vallis in Season 1, and Gordon Winarick in Season 4 of Fox's Gotham.

Happy Death Day star Rachel Matthews will also guest star in Episode 4. She will be playing Magpie, an intelligent and clever thief that is drawn to very shiny things, which gives her the extreme urge to "pickpocket the rich." Though her description seems shallow, Magpie has big plans "for those who take their wealth for granted." Magpie's character was also previously seen in the final season of Fox's Gotham which was then played by Sarah Schenkkan.

Written by Caroline Dries and developed by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose along with Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis, and Nicole Kang.

Batwoman will premiere this Sunday, October 6.
