New Avengers: Infinity War Theory Suggests Thanos Killed And Resurrected A Major Character

Sometimes it's not enough for Thanos to simply snap your best friend away into oblivion. The Mad Titan might also decide to kill you then force you to be resurrected before snapping away to murder your BFF. Well, at least that's what a new Avengers: Infinity War theory suggests.

One of the most memorable scenes in InfinityWar was the brief fight between Thanos and Captain America where Steve actually gets a blow to the head from the Mad Titan. A Reddit user has pointed out that the blow may have been severe enough to kill the First Avenger so how did Steve manage to walk away from the battle? Because he may have been resurrected when Thanos used the Time Stone.

Infinity War: Captain America was killed in the Battle of Wakanda, but was then brought back with the time stone.

It certainly makes sense but others were quick to comment that Thanos didn't hit Steve hard enough to kill him. Another possibility is that the Mad Titan had no plans to murder Captain America because it might change the outcome of the battle. Nevertheless, we still wonder just how strong Cap truly is to survive a punch from that gigantic fist.

The survivors of the Wakanda battle certainly had it worse than their fallen allies. Steve's survival ensured that he would see Bucky Barnes say his name one last time before crumbling into dust. Although we still don't know if any of the victims will return in Avengers 4, there is little doubt that the survivors will be looking for a way to bring them back.

The Avengers: Infinity War DVD and Blu-Ray were released on August 14.
