A lot of great science fiction shows such as Firefly and Sense8 had been canceled in the past but thankfully, the family-friendly Lost in Space is getting a second season.
Today, Netflix has announced on Twitter that the sci-fi series based on the 1965 series of the same title has been renewed for Season 2. Since the first season was well-received by critics and fans, this isn't very surprising but it's good to hear that it's coming.
The tweet reads: "More Danger, Will Robinson. Lost in Space Season 2 is coming."
Netflix hasn't shared any additional details about the upcoming season but the tweet came with a nice clip that teases Season 2 of the sci-fi series.
I haven't seen the series yet but I'll probably check it out after I binge-watch The Returned on Netflix. Earlier, I mentioned that Sense8 was canceled but Netflix is releasing a special finale this June, and I'm definitely going to watch that.
