Netflix Unveils Official Poster For Henry Cavill's Last Appearance as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher Season 3

Following the release of the first trailer for The Witcher Season 3, Netflix unveils the official poster for the upcoming third installment of the series which is confirmed to be the last appearance of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.

On the official Twitter account of The Witcher series, after the release of the trailer for the show, Netflix dropped the official poster of The Witcher Season 3.

Captioned, "Family’s worth fighting for. #thewitcher," it unveils the three main characters of The Witcher Season 3 with Geralt and Ciri with their swords, and Yennefer about to cast a spell.

The caption of the image clearly shows how Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer becomes tight-knit to each other in the series.

Still, even with the arrival of the official trailer and poster of The Witcher Season 3, Henry Cavill will still be departing the series after this one.

In 2022, it was confirmed that Henry Cavill will exit the series and Liam Hemsworth will be taking his place as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher Season 4.

While many fans are calling onto Netflix and Cavill to reverse the decision, it seems to be final already, thus, marking The Witcher Season 3 as Cavill's last appearance as Geralt of Rivia.

Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia banners The Witcher series as the monster hunter in a medieval world where he encounters Yennefer, a quarter elf portrayed by Anya Chalotra, and Ciri, a magical princess played by Freya Allan.

Other characters include Joey Batey’s Jaskier, Eamon Farren’s Cahir, Anna Shaffer’s Triss, and MyAnna Buring’s Tissaia.

New additions to The Witcher Season 3’s cast includes Robbie Amell who would don the part of the elf warrior Gallatin, Meng’er Zhang who will portray the dryad huntress Milva, Hugh Skinner, and Christelle Elwin.

The Witcher Season 3 is set to come out in two volumes, much like other Netflix shows, and its first will be arriving on June 29th, then the second would be out on July 27th.
