Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's docuseries gave the public a glimpse of their intimate life. However, a body language expert alleged that it was probably not easy for the Duke of Sussex.
Harry & Meghan May Have Been Painful For Prince Harry?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's anticipated docuseries is coming out on Thursday. Days before its premiere, fans were treated with two promos that featured several intimate photos of the royal couple, probably taken by a third person.
"The only thing to remember is that this intimate and personal view of a love story entails at least three people for most of these illustrations," body language expert Judi James told Express (via Showbiz CheatSheet).
"A couple of the photos could be selfies, but the others would all have been performed in front of at least one camera, possibly a group of them, maybe even a full crew, which should technically have been painful for the notoriously private prince?"
Prince Harry had repeatedly said that he wanted to live a private life that was why he wanted to live the royals. However, it seemed not to be the case after he and his wife stepped back from their royal duties in 2020. Instead, they have been exposing themselves, with some saying they were inescapable.
"Meghan and Harry say they want some privacy in space, but I'm starting to feel like it's us who need a bit of privacy and space from them," GB News TV presenter Mercy Muroki said. "You turn on your TV and there they are doing their interviews in front of millions of people. So, you flip to Netflix and there they are again with their multi-year, multi-million dollar deal. So you switch that off and think 'Well I'll just listen to a nice podcast instead' and there they are again being their weird and woke selves."
Muroki's co-anchor, Patrick Christys, agreed that the royal couple is indeed inescapable and is "everywhere" despite their request for privacy.
"Yeah, they said they wanted privacy. But I think they're starting to invade Britain's privacy," she added.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Docuseries Not As Intimate As Portrayed?
Although both trailers featured private and intimate moments between the couple, James wasn't convinced it was really intimate. In the second promo, Prince Harry also says, "No one sees what's happening behind closed doors."
James wasn't sold out with the idea of intimacy being portrayed in the trailers because she was aware that another person was present to capture those moments.

"'Behind closed doors' sounds intimate, but many of these poses are not intimate in the way that the average person would behave when totally alone with their partner, because someone else is there recording them and witnessing them," James said.
Prince Harry's biographer Angela Levin also found the photos staged. The shots didn't look natural to her at all.
"That one is quite obviously staged and phony," she told GB News. "And I think that's an appalling thing to do."
