NCIS Season 20 has been giving fans a glimpse into the romantic relationship between Dr. Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) and Special Agent Jessica Knight (Katrina Law), and it seems like the show will continue to focus on their story as the season comes to an end.

Dr. Jimmy Palmer's Confession in the NCIS Season 20 Finale
In the penultimate episode titled Kompromat, Palmer will accidentally make a confession that could potentially change the course of their relationship. Executive Producer Steven D. Binder spoke to TV Insider about what fans can expect from the upcoming episode.
"We've been slow-rolling Jimmy and Knight's relationship, and part of that is because Knight just doesn't want to bring it to the office," Binder said. "But in the second to last episode, a facet of it lands in the office with a big loud thud, and you see our characters reacting to it."
Binder also teased that it's time for their relationship to go to the next level, and fans can expect to see that happen in the upcoming episode of NCIS Season 20. Photos from the episode show Special Agent Alden Parker (Gary Cole) in the mix, hinting that he might play a role in the drama.

What to Expect From the Upcoming Episode
Apart from the romance, the upcoming NCIS Season 20 episode will also feature a case involving a suspicious murder in the classified section of the National Archive. The team will have to investigate a string of Russian spy encounters that may be linked to the crime.
NCIS fans have been waiting for Jimmy and Knight's relationship to develop, and it looks like the upcoming episode will finally bring some progress. The penultimate episode of the season, Kompromat, will feature a big reveal that could change the course of their relationship.
But, as always, the team will also have to solve a case involving Russian spies. Fans can catch the episode of NCIS Season 20 on May 15, airing at 9/8c on CBS.
