Naomi Judd’s apparent suicide months ago shocked the entire music industry. But it is her daughters Wynonna Judd and Ashley Judd who were left behind to pick up the pieces following her untimely demise.

According to reports, Wynonna recently questioned the authenticity of Naomi Judd’s last will and testament after learning that the singer left her estate to her husband, Larry Strickland.

A Handwriting Expert Observed Some Irregularities In Naomi Judd’s Last Will And Testament

While speaking with Radar Online, handwriting expert Peggy Walla said that a thorough investigation might take place following Wynonna’s complaints. After all, there’s an indication that Naomi wasn’t the one who signed her last will and testament. Instead, her signature was seemingly just traced.

“The initials and signature are traced -- they are not written by her. That means someone put a lighter piece of paper over her regular signature and traced it. It doesn’t have fluidity. Usually when you are signing your name – the pen is already in motion when it starts to hit the paper and it gives it a feathered look where these are intentional ‘starts and stops,’” Walla said.

More specifically, Wall noticed some inconsistencies with how the letters o and j were written.

“If you look at the top of the O in Naomi – the top of it is cut off and there is no reason why it should be cut off like that. You and I sign our names every day and we don’t have to think about how to form the letter, or if it looks right, we don’t think about stuff like that. The (pen) pressure is the same all the way across – the starting and stops of the initials are blunt instead of feathered – like someone intentionally started and stopped,” she said.

Naomi Judd Reportedly Assigned Larry Strickland As Executor Of Her $25 Million Estate

The handwriting expert also said that the original document should be examined forensically to ensure that Naomi was really the one who signed it. The late singer’s five-page document was executed on Nov. 20, 2017. But it was only filed one month after she took her own life on Apr. 30.

In her will, Naomi wrote that she wants Strickland to be the executor of her state in the event that she passes away. According to the publication, Ashley is siding with her mom and Strickland on the matter because she believes that the singer’s last will and testament are authentic.

Is Wynonna Judd Challenging The Authenticity Of Naomi Judd’s Last Will And Testament Because She Needs Money?

However, Wynonna wants to challenge the authenticity of the document. After all, she wants to get a piece of the pie and is allegedly convinced that her sister and Strickland conspired against her.

“Wynonna has had money problems throughout her adult life. She’s blown through every dollar she made with The Judds. She even checked into a treatment facility in 2004 for a ‘money disorder”, a source said.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Naomi was worth $25 million at the time of her death. And the majority of her earnings came from the many years that she worked in the music industry.
