Nam Joo Hyuk will be enlisted in the military this year to serve the country.
Fans will have the chance to see Nam Joo Hyuk before his scheduled military enlistment. After appearing in the hit tvN drama series Twenty Five, Twenty One, he will appear in the film Remember this month.
As of press time, he is recording the Disney+ series Vigilante, until the production team wraps up its filming by November.
Unfortunately, Nam Joo Hyuk will not be able to see the drama due to his upcoming enlistment.
Nam Joo Hyuk’s Enlistment Date
Multiple Korean news outlets, including Herald Pop and Sports Chosun, confirmed the Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo actor’s military enlistment date.
According to reports, a source from his agency Management SOOP disclosed that he would enter the military in December.

“Although he does have to [enlist] in December, the exact date has not been fixed because he has yet to be issued a draft notice,” the source said.
The agency added that Nam Joo Hyuk would finish his filming schedules ahead of the beginning of his active duties before this year ends. He will stay out of the spotlight for 18 months or more.
All About Nam Joo Hyuk’s Vigilante
Fans can support Nam Joo Hyuk’s flicks when he enters the military, and one of those projects is Vigilante.
The series is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name by Kim Kyu Sam. It explores the story of police university student Ji Yong who hunts down criminals every weekend. Nam Joo Hyuk plays the lead role.
It will serve as his newest series following the success of Twenty Five, Twenty One, which constantly became the most buzzworthy drama throughout its stint. In fact, it remained on the top spot on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list in its final week after generating the most buzz.
Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Tae Ri, and WJSN Bona became the most buzzworthy cast members.
