Following its announcement earlier this month, a new My Wife Has No Emotion teaser has just been released. This teaser not only shows off the anime’s eye-catching visuals but also highlights the two main characters.
As the title implies, this anime features an emotionless love interest. There’s a good reason for this as the heroine Mina is a robot.
My Wife Has No Emotion Follows a Guy Who Fall in Love With a Robot
My Wife Has No Emotion is a romance slice-of-life manga by Jiro Sugiura that’s serialized in Monthly Comic Flapper. An anime adaptation was announced on March 1, and it is being produced by Tezuka Productions (of Under Ninja and My Home Hero fame).
Its story follows Takuma, a single salaryman who gets a robot to help with cooking and housework. Named Mina, this robot proves to be effective at this task, to the point that Takuma asks her jokingly to become his wife.
Mina agrees to become Takuma’s wife, and they soon begin doing couple activities. While it started as a joke, Takuma soon finds himself falling in love with Mina.

Main Cast of My Wife Has No Emotion Revealed
For now, the show’s full voice cast has not been announced yet, though its two main stars have been revealed.
Voicing the protagonist Takuma is Toshiyuki Toyonaga, a voice actor who is best known for roles such as Junichiro Tanizaki in Bungou Stray Dogs, Kenjiro Shirabu in Haikyuu, and Mikado Ryugamine in Durarara!!.
Joining Toyonaga is Konomi Inagaki as the robot Mina. Inagaki’s other notable roles include Lilique Kadoka Lipati in Gundam: The Witch from Mercury and Ellie in Synduality: Noir.

My Wife Has No Emotion Gets Intriguing Teaser
My Wife Has No Emotion finally got a teaser trailer which features some cute interaction between Takuma and Mina.
Based on the clips, the anime has a cute art style that captures Mina’s adorable looks which stand in sharp contrast to her emotionless demeanor.
On the flip side, Takuma seems to be quite an expressive protagonist. Given this, the anime should be a promising watch for romance and slice-of-life fans.
When Will the My Wife Has No Emotion Anime Premiere? Release Date Window
The My Wife Has No Emotion anime is set to premiere in July 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date. There’s also no info on which platform the show will be streamed outside Japan.
In the meantime, the manga is available in English in print and online via Seven Seas Entertainment.
