If the already NSFW standard version of the show is still too tame for your liking, here’s some good news for you. My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog confirmed that its uncensored “Wonderful” version will be released this January.
Recently, the show’s first episode aired in Japan and was subsequently streamed on HIDIVE. Though some viewers were disappointed by the censorship in this initial version.
Inukai-san Broadcast vs. Wonderful Version
While every anime season sees the release of some questionable anime, this new show might just take the cake.
My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog is an anime that follows Pochita, a male high school student who finds himself transformed into a dog (not to be confused with Pochita from Chainsaw Man).
Soon, his classmate and crush, Karen Inukai, takes him home to be her new pet.
It’s soon revealed that Inukai is a dog lover and likes to cuddle and bathe with her dog.
Yes, this anime features Pochita bathing with Inukai while she's naked. Pochita also gets to enjoy questionable hugs and other forms of skinship.
Probably due to its lewd nature, My Life as Inukai-san's Dog's episodes are half the length of a typical anime episode, though they’re still filled with lots of NSFW scenes.
The version that was released initially (though censored) is called the Broadcast version. In this version, NSFW scenes of Inukai being naked are censored, typically with dog paws.
But for fans who want the full experience, the upcoming (and aptly named) Wonderful version is an uncensored cut of My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog.
This version will likely come with uncensored topless scenes and more.
My Life as Inukai-san's Dog Uncensored Version Release Date
The Broadcast version began airing on January 5, 2023. Meanwhile, the Wonderful version will air on the Japanese TV network AT-X on January 13, 2023.
AT-X is best known for airing several uncensored versions of NSFW anime titles such as Elfen Lied, High School DxD, and Redo of Healer. Thus, it makes sense that Inukai-san will be broadcast here without any censorship.
Meanwhile, the show’s official website states that the Wonderful version’s first episode will be streamed in Japan through Abema and d anime store on January 11, 2023, at midnight JST.
Other platforms in Japan will also carry the uncensored version soon, including Anime Festa, U-NEXT, Hulu, Rakuten TV, and more.
Currently though, there’s no word yet on whether the Inukai-san uncensored version will be released outside Japan.
Some fans expect that HIDIVE will also stream the Wonderful version following its AT-X broadcast.
